The Queen of Hearts

Hi. This is my entry of the Feburary Character Design Challange. The Queen of Hearts. I know not an original idea, but....well. Here I try to tell a little story. A connection to the Disney Alice in Wonderland Story about the white roses. So the soldiers mistakenly plant white roses in the garden of the queen. But she wantet red ones. So the soldiers paint it red, but the queen dislike it and execute the soldiers. In this picture, one of them, while holding one of the red painted white roses. Ok the cards soldiers in the Disney movie were clubs, but spades give it a more agressive look to the picture. Everything is made with vector masks in Photoshop.
