NO to AI generated images - Respect the artists with skills

See I join this kind of statement, because I have my reasons. It is a breach of private data and everything we put online by ourselves or friends and family to feed this algorithm. Well for me,... my stuff is so unimportant, I’m pretty sure, I don’t appear in any program.

But I don’t share the same take on AI generated art like @artofinca did in his post. I will not justify or defend it. Yes it is kind of theft and an abuse of a long term grown skill, that an artist was dedicated to develope. There need to be actions and laws to regulate and erase this data or something to compensate the artist or the content creater of it.

But AI art generators are here now. In some art programs, they will be a tool to create backgrounds for example or concepts. And they will be used, as long as they make
money, unfortunately.

My take on this is…..Common give me a break!
I mean as a digital artist it is sometimes hard to explain “Non-Artists” or “ Regular Humans” that we don’t just push a button and the art is made. You need time to sketch, build the forms, structure, composition, lights etc, etc. It is work to learn and create and not just the push on a button.

But with this AI-Generators………IT IS EXACTLY THAT!

I mean I was already annoyed by the NFT Bu1l$h/t and that artists got ripped off by people who took their art and sold it as NFT, without their concent. And now they don’t even take the time and do the research by themself to rip off artists. They let a program do the job.
I mean how fu€kEd up is this for artists right now? We are in a constant fight for aknowledgment, for work, the rights of our work, money and respect.

I mean we live in a time, where creators and artists are needed the most now, because of new content every single second. All these entertainment giants in movies, shows,streaming services and games need artists.

But the take of companies and art sides like Deviantart and Artstation, is just respectless.

We feed your sides with content. Hard learned, developed and self created content.
And now we are just cannon fodder for cheap @$$ creators, who just put some words in a textbox and click generate. And then they have the audacity to proclaim this as art. WTF???
